Today, I review Terence Malik's film A Hidden Life, but not from a typical movie review perspective. A Hidden Life is based upon the true life story of the suffering endured by two Austrian conscientious objectors in serving Hitler's cause during WWII and the enduring unbreakable love that enabled them to endure their suffering. I review this film form the vantage of the important lessons embedded in this film and the important parallels to Hitler's tyranny in 1940s Germany and Austria and ongoing global tyranny in 2020/2021 in response to the virus. In the end, love is indeed stronger than hatred and will always triumph over evil.
