#213: Understanding the Evils of Economic Sanctions, Gentrification, Information Apartheid & Political Pandering
Jul 17th, 2021
Reggae legend Robert Nesta Marley, when asked why he decided to go ahead with a planned Smile Jamaica unity concert in Kingston, Jamaica just two days after an attempt on his life in which he had been shot, replied,
"The people who are trying to make this world worse aren't taking a day off. How can I?"
As all of you know, I've relentlessly been producing content for my free platforms here , my paid platforms on Rokfin, substack and Patreon as below, sometimes staying up all night until 3AM or 4AM and waking up at 7AM to produce this content. Why have I been so relentless as of late? My answer is the same as legendary Bob Marley's answer above.
In today's podcast I tackle why the majority of people don't understand the evils of economic sanctions, gentrification of blighted urban areas, the big tech goals of information apartheid being carried out be Facebook's Zuckerberg and global titans like Google, and the unacceptable pursuit of political clout and wealth by politicians in their formation of political relationships with some of the worst humanitarian abusers on planet Earth. Those that perform evil every single day never take a day off, so how can you and I?
